Special trains will be available at 10:40 PM from both stations. The reduced service frequency is expected to increase travel time on the Blue Line. Other lines, including the Purple Line, Green Line, and Orange Line, will operate on their regular schedules. However, passenger numbers are expected to be relatively low on these lines.

Maidan siding presented unique challenges due to its curvature, requiring precise alignment. The work involved dismantling the old rails and installing new aluminum rails on GRP insulators. The team, led by Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer Sumit Kayal, completed the work before 5:00 AM, ensuring smooth morning services. Aluminum rails are expected to reduce energy losses, increase train acceleration, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs. Additionally, they will reduce carbon emissions by 50,000 tons over their lifetime, require less maintenance, and generate less heat in the tunnels.

Iske alawa, yeh rails apni lifetime mein 50,000 tons carbon emission kam karenge, inki kam maintenance ki jarurat padegi, aur tunnels mein kam heat generate hoga, jisse metro system ko faida hoga.
