A Comfortable and Punctual Night Journey
On April 18, 2024, I traveled on the New Delhi - Lucknow AC Express, a renowned overnight train. It lived up to its reputation for punctuality and comfort.

Cleanliness and Service
The 3AC coach in the 2024 series was spotless, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Ticket Examiner, a young female, was professional and courteous, ensuring a smooth journey for all passengers.

Onboard Amenities
A standout feature was the reading lamp, allowing me to read without disturbing others. This thoughtful amenity added to the overall comfort.

Peaceful Experience
The journey was peaceful and relaxing, providing a much-needed break from the city’s hustle and bustle. The train’s punctuality added to the overall positive experience.

Conclusion
The New Delhi - Lucknow AC Express offers a clean, comfortable, and punctual overnight journey. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling on this route.

This train slows down too much after Panvel station.If you wish to travel towards CST, alight at Panvel station, take a local train towards CST.You will save nearly 1 hr 30 min.Its really surprising.

Cheapest Accommodation (For Private kind of room) available in the city center of Kolkata.
3. Variety of Food available at IRCTC Executive Lounge near the reception of the hotel. (No entry charges for Stay at the Retiring Room. Only Charges for Food as applicable in Menu)
4. Very fast Check-in Process.
5. All the Staffs were friendly in nature.

Cons :-

1. The price which we are paying here. We should have gotten at least a private bathroom.

2. Lack of Staff at Night. So, No service was available at night after check-in.

Note : Booking gets full at night all the time. If planning to say one should book the room in advance for the convenience.

Highly congested in 3AC too. If one plans for a pleasure journey, please avoid this train. Already 9 seats are allotted in one cabin, and you invariably find atleast two families within one cabin along with non-ticket children and the total number of people will be nearly 13 per cabin. Luggage is very very higher levels than permitted and you can't find a place to leave even your shoes.

Temperature inside - freezing ( I travelled once and had payed for bed rolls but didn't take it seeing its condition thus left freezing the whole night )
