Instead the railways has changed the originating station from Howrah to Santragachi.....really cant understand the reason for the same

Thnks..But a departure time at 11pm. Even during that time there is no slot at hwh?....and moreover since it is biweekly....dont think it shud be a prob. HWH Trichy/HWH kanyakumari all originate at HWH.

Hwh is saturated and so is the slot and hence a halt of 50 mins @ KGP
HWH Ahmedabad mostly departs after 1 & Himgiri quite often departs the next day morning.
slot at hwh is not an issue. the slot from kgp to mas is filled with other trains.
change of terminals was done so as to reduce load from hwh. hence 4 5 trains like gurudev, hwh ltt, hwh tvc hwh digha and aranyak were shifted to shm...
