Perhaps one or two routes, like ADI-MMCT, may see higher occupancy, but beyond that, I doubt it, as passengers tend to prefer booking CC or 3A tickets for longer journeys exceeding 200 kilometers.
Additionally, these trains will only stop at select stations, unlike MEMU services, which stop at all. This could be a drawback.

In my opinion, Vande Metro trains should have been scheduled to stop at all stations except halts, as this would improve occupancy. The majority of MEMU passengers come from smaller stations, and they travel to larger stations (cities). At the very least, small stations should have benefited from these changes like VB, AB, VB Sleeper, VM. They should've gotten SOMETHING, atleast.
