The 23.3 km long line will have 23 elevated stations. The project, undertaken by Tata-Siemens on a public-private partnership basis, is expected to cost ₹8,313 crore. Land acquisition is almost complete (99.94%), and 65% of the integrated double-decker flyover has been built. Tata Projects Ltd. is responsible for civil construction, and the first Alstom Metropolis train-set for line 3 was received on June 1.
