At critical locations, particularly those bordering Bangladesh like Namkhana, Diamond Harbour, Hasnabad, and Canning, sufficient engineering, signal, and telecom staff were stationed for crisis management. Security personnel were deployed round-the-clock, rakes were secured, and diesel locomotives were positioned at key locations.
