and emergency lights were arranged, tree-cutting equipment was prepared, and tower wagons were kept ready to address overhead equipment (OHE) issues. At critical locations, particularly those bordering Bangladesh like Namkhana, Diamond Harbour, Hasnabad, and Canning, sufficient engineering, signal, and telecom staff were stationed for crisis management. Security personnel were deployed round-the-clock, rakes were secured, and diesel locomotives were positioned at key locations. To prevent accidents during the cyclone, all advertisement boards and hoardings were removed from stations. After making landfall, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that Cyclone 'Remal' would continue moving northwards, gradually weakening into a Cyclonic Storm.

Security personnel ko round-the-clock deploy kiya gaya aur rakes ko secure kiya gaya. Diesel locomotives ko bhi key locations pe rakha gaya. Cyclone ke time pe accidents na hone ke liye, sabhi advertisement boards aur hoardings ko stations se hata diya gaya. Landfall ke baad, IMD ne bataya ki Cyclone 'Remal' aage bhi northwards move karega aur slowly Cyclonic Storm ban jaayega.
