Grievance Description : The Managing Director, Konkan Railway Corporation CBD Belapur Navi Mumbai, Sir, I regret to bring to your notice on the casual attitude taken by you in operation of trains in KR. As compared to the past we observe: 1. Slow down of train travel times of many trains. 2. Delay of every train on KR by an average of 30 mins to 1 hour 3. Slow down in initiating of doubling and electrification process on KR which is the need of hour considering the heavy traffic density on this single route (thereby delaying all trains). And despite these issues you have been keeping your eyes closed stating that all is well n your are able to manage the traffic in single line.Doubling between Roha-Vinhere(71kms) and Rajapur-Madure(91kms) can almost help trains to maintain their schedule. 4. Non allotment of halts as per demand. Where Kudal and Thivim takes care of many trains, stations like Sawantwadi Rd is ignored totally justifying that the current trains are enough 5. Old rakes infested with pests are running in this route... I request you to please take a serious view of the above. Hoping for a positive action from your side at the earliest. Regards Yash Rane Mumbai
