Why not extend this train till Ludhiana Junction with halts at Panipat and Ambala on extended portion ?
Industrial Cities would get connected.
Ludhiana would get additional Mid Day Premium Option from/to New Delhi. New Delhi would get rid of stabling the rake.
Timing especially in return would automatically switch to Late Evening Departure from New Delhi towards Kanpur. Giving people more diversified option...

CDG-NDLS Shatabdi can be extended to LDH in both directions with little tweak in timings//
AGC may not give patronage to CDG-NDLS Extn, given there is already 1 Sh, 1 VB and 1 Gatiman.
Pax from Punjab on LDH-CDG sector want premium travel ,
And LDH will get another Premium connection to CDG & NDLS plus to towns like UMB and KUN

Im frequent traveller of 12045 and It can easily reach CDG at 2220 or so. 90% its held back at UMB outer for 10 odd minutes and few times at Dappar stn too. So 2220 Arr and 2225 Dep from CDG will make it reach LDH by 2355 or so,,which is decent for bursting metropolitan like LDH
Plus addl connectivity from KUN, UMB to LDH will fetch good passengers..

i too support this notion.. this train should run as an early morning connection from GGN and Rewari ... it will certainly help many passengers and fulfill the long pending demand.. This lobby was successful in re routing Haryana Express to sirsa via GGN.. they can also extend this train to RE.. but a superfast version of this train should run leaving RE at 5:00 , GGN : 5:50 , DEC 6:10 trailing AADR VB halts at SNP , PNP , KUN , KKDE and UMB only reaching CDG at around 10:00 hours..

Himalyan Queen use to start around 5:40 from DEE.. The train can follow the same TT but with stops at SNP , PNP , KUN , KKDE , UMB only .. in between it will just have to manage two overtakes of VB.. and trails behind lined up MEX and SFs ...
