UP Sampark Kranti Express will be extended to Prayagraj Junction from September 22. This train currently runs between Manikpur and Hazrat Nizamuddin.

The train has 22 coaches, out of which 15 are AC. Among the AC coaches, there are 10 AC 3-tier, 4 AC 2-tier, and 1 AC First Class coach.

The train will depart from Manikpur at 4:30 PM and reach Prayagraj Junction at 9:30 PM. The return journey will start from Prayagraj Junction at 9:30 PM and reach Manikpur at 4:30 AM the next day.

This extension of the UP Sampark Kranti to Prayagraj Junction will benefit passengers traveling between Bundelkhand and Prayagraj regions.

I agree there are less trains in the Bundelkhand region. But that's the case for a lot of places that aren't on the mainline. So that's the basis of carving out a new state, if that were the case, Nalanda would've been a separate state.

Bundelkhand region with added connectivity to PRYJ and furthermore to Varanasi and Lucknow.

UPSK is most probably extended for the upcoming Mahakumbh. And furthermore due to the planned redevelopment of NDLS, for transferring the PM to NCR. Prayagraj got Jammu Mail without even asking, just because NR wanted to get rid of it. So what's the rocket science in thinking that NR can transfer a NCR serving train to NCR's HQ to get rid of it's responsibility.
