The Gosalpur foot over bridge project has been plagued by delays, with contractors abandoning the project and a change in policy leading to the involvement of a different agency. The incident at Deवरी occurred just days after the shed was installed and has raised serious concerns about the shoddy construction work. Despite the suspension of S.S.E. Shashikant Kumar in connection with the Gosalpur incident, no action has been taken against senior officials allegedly involved in the matter. The Deवरी incident has further highlighted the lack of accountability and quality control within the Jabalpur Railway Division.

Deवरी ka shed toh kuchh din pehle hi laga tha, lekin phir bhi udan gaya, jisse construction quality pe bohot doubt aaya. Gosalpur case mein S.S.E. Shashikant Kumar ko suspend kar diya gaya, lekin senior officials jo isme involved the, unpe abhi tak koi action nahi hua.
