The train, numbered 20829/20830, will operate six days a week (excluding Thursday) in both directions. Railway Act of 1989. According to an RPF official, the incident happened during a trial run of the train which was scheduled to commence service on September 16th. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. The meeting was attended by MPs from Mandla, Satna, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Sagar, Damoh, Sidhi, and the Rajya Sabha. Other MPs sent their suggestions through representatives. The meeting highlighted the ongoing development work in the division, including the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, which will upgrade 53 stations across WCR, including 15 in the Jabalpur division. The initiative includes major upgrades to Jabalpur and Satna stations. Additionally, a 'One Station, One Product' scheme was introduced to promote local goods, and 'Prime Minister Bharatiya Janaushadhi Kendra' centers were opened at Madan Mahal, Bina, and Sawai Madhopur stations for providing affordable and generic medicines. MPs provided suggestions, including completing infrastructure projects on time, a stopover for the overnight express between Jabalpur and Indore at Shriram station, restarting halted trains, running passenger trains from Jabalpur to various destinations, and including Ghada, Gwari Ghat, and Bargi stations in WCR. Further suggestions included a Vande Bharat train between Jabalpur and Raipur, a direct train from Jabalpur to Amritsar, daily operation of the MP Sampark Kranti train, and a stop for the Somnath and Garibrath Express trains at Madan Mahal station. 1. MFR MP: Overnight ka halt at SRID. Absolutely nonsense. It'll be better if the MP actually thinks about the development of his constituency than indulge in malarkey.
2. JBP MP: Corona me band hui trains should be started again (JBP Kota Express, ET KTE Express). GGGS aur GRG ko WCR me include karne se na jane kya expectations hain inke. WCR already MML aur ADTL k liye kuchh nahin kar raha. JBP R VB again illogical. Instead VM can be tried. JBP ASR train a good suggestion. MPSK daily isn't required. MML par JBP SMNH aur GR ka halt is a great and the most valuable suggestion. In fact JBP ki saari trains should halt at MML.

5. DMO MP: DMO se NGP train kaise chal sakti. There aren't terminal facilities I guess.
6. SGRL MP: SGRL BPL and SGRL NZM ki frequency abhi to increase hui thi. Itna rush hai kya in trains me?
7. RS MP: JBP Pune train to shayad 15 years se special ki tarah hi chal rahi. Saari political trains regular ho jati/ regular introduce hoti, but these JBP k politicians are impotent. JBP HYB can be tried via G NGP if the days of operation and schedule are carefully worked out.

Yea, all this meanwhile sirf SGRL BPL and SGRL NZM ka hi sunane me aata. SGRL INDB is crucial. The energy capital is still unconnected with the commercial capital.
SGRL should demand to get shifted to WCR. That might actually help. If SGRL would've been in WCR, at least the morning ICE could have become a reality.

Express has been operating between Bilaspur and Nagpur since December 2022, six days a week, excluding Saturdays. The new train will depart from Durg instead of Raipur due to the availability of a coaching yard at Durg. The train's coaches and engine are expected to arrive at Durg Railway Station by September 10th. The train will be a chair car and will stop at Durg, Raipur, Mahasamund, Khariyar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Raigarh, Parvatipuram, and Vizianagaram on its way to Visakhapatnam. However, the official announcement of stoppages and fare is yet to be released by the Railways.
