Railway Station. Passenger train services between Mhow and Patalpani will commence soon after the trial run report is approved. The DRM, Rajnish Kumar, stated that the 5 km broad gauge conversion between Mhow and Patalpani is finished. They plan to launch the Heritage Train service this month. The Heritage Train will operate between Patalpani and Kalakund, covering 10 km. It will offer passengers the chance to experience the Patalpani Station, Patalpani Waterfall, Valley Bridge, Kalakund, and four tunnels. Passengers will need to travel via DEMU for 5.5 km between Mhow and Patalpani due to the change in gauge. The Heritage Train will run three days a week, initially with two Vista Dome AC Chair Cars (C-1 and C-2) and three Non-AC Chair Cars (D-1, D-2, and D-3). Tickets will be sold separately for the journey. The train is scheduled to depart from Patalpani at 11:05 am and reach Kalakund at 1:25 pm. The return journey will commence from Kalakund at 3:34 pm and arrive at Patalpani at 4:30 pm. The train will stay at Kalakund for approximately two hours to allow passengers to explore the waterfalls and mountains. This section of the track was designated as a Heritage Track in 2018, marking the debut of the state's only Heritage Train. This train has been popular with travelers and operates during the monsoon season. The railway line was laid in 1877. There were plans to shut down the line a few years ago, but due to the tourism potential of the location, a smaller train service was maintained.

Heritage train Patalpani aur Kalakund ke beech chalegi, 10 km cover karegi. Yaatri Patalpani station, Patalpani waterfall, Valley bridge, Kalakund aur chaar tunnel ka romance ka luth uthayege. Mhow se Patalpani ke beech 5.5 km hisse mein yaatri ko gauge parivartan hone ke karan DEMU se yatra karni hogi. Heritage train hafte mein teen din chalegi. Shuruat mein do Vista Dome AC Chair Cars (C-1 aur C-2) aur teen Non-AC Chair Cars (D-1, D-2 aur D-3) honge. Train Patalpani se 11:05 am par chalegi aur Kalakund pe 1:25 pm par pahuchegi. Return journey Kalakund se 3:34 pm par shuru hogi aur Patalpani pe 4:30 pm par pahuchegi. Train Kalakund pe 2 ghante rukhegi taaki yaatri waterfall aur pahad ki sair kar sake.

The launch of the heritage train service will follow. Previously, a meter gauge line existed between Mhow and Kalakund railway station, which was closed, leading to the conversion of the line to broad gauge between Mhow and Patalpani. The heritage train runs on the meter gauge line between Patalpani and Kalakund during the monsoon season. The inspection involved a detailed examination of the track, including six bridges, and a trial run of a seven-wagon train. The planned inspection speed was 130 km per hour, but due to the climb and short distance, the maximum speed reached was 101 km per hour. The train departed from Patalpani at 12:53 PM and reached Mhow at 1:02 PM, covering the 5 km distance in nine minutes. Previously, the railway had conducted speed trials using only a locomotive, which reached a speed of 110 km per hour and was successful. The CRS is now awaiting the report of the inspection, after which the railway will introduce passenger trains between Mhow and Patalpani and commence the heritage train service between Patalpani and Kalakund.

Pehle, railway ne sirf locomotive chala kar speed trial kiya tha, jismein 110 km per hour ki speed tak locomotive chalaaya gaya tha, jo successful tha. CRS ab inspection report ka intezaar kar raha hai. Report aane ke baad, railway Mhow aur Patalpani ke beech passenger train chalaayega aur Patalpani aur Kalakund ke beech heritage train service shuru karega.
