and Ratlam by 57 km, allowing trains to bypass Ujjain. Currently, 11 pairs of trains operate on the Laxmibai Nagar-Fatehabad-Ratlam route, and 10 pairs run through Indore-Ujjain-Ratlam. The doubling project requires land acquisition, but some land is already owned by the railway, allowing for early commencement of earthwork and bridge construction. The budget also includes funds for other projects in the Ratlam division. Additionally, due to doubling work on the Anand-Godhra railway section, the route of the Indore-Gandhi Dham and Veraval-Indore Mahamana Express trains has been changed for specific dates.

hai, toh Indore se Ujjain se ho kar Ratlam jaane wali long distance trains Fatehabad se ho kar directly jaa sakengi, jisse 57 km ki distance kam ho jaayegi. Currently, Laxmibai Nagar-Fatehabad-Ratlam route pe 11 pairs of trains chalti hain aur Indore-Ujjain-Ratlam route pe 10 pairs chalti hain. Doubling project ke liye land acquisition karna hoga, lekin kuchh land railway ke paas pehle se hai, isliye earthwork aur bridge ka kaam jaldi shuru ho sakega. Ratlam division ke liye budget mein aur bhi schemes ke liye paisa diya gaya hai. Alag se, Anand-Godhra railway section pe doubling work ki wajah se, Indore-Gandhi Dham aur Veraval-Indore Mahamana Express trains ka route kuchh specific dates pe change kiya gaya hai.

The heritage train features two AC VistaDome coaches (C1 & C2) and three non-AC coaches (D1, D2, & D3). Tourists have already booked tickets for the upcoming two Sundays. The 10km route offers breathtaking views of Patalpani station, waterfall, Valley Bridge, Kalakund, and tunnels. The train departs from Patalpani at 11:05 AM and reaches Kalakund at 1:05 PM. The return journey from Kalakund starts at 3:34 PM and reaches Patalpani at 4:30 PM. Railway officials are considering operating a DEMU train from Indore to Mahu and Patalpani to cater to tourists. Initially, passengers might have to travel to Patalpani via road, but the railway has inspected the broad-gauge rail line from Mahu to Patalpani and might extend the existing 09390 DEMU train from Ratlam to Patalpani. This would enable direct train connectivity from Indore and Mahu to Patalpani.

Train Patalpani se 11:05 AM pe chalta hai aur 1:05 PM pe Kalakund pahunchta hai. Kalakund se Patalpani ki वापसी 3:34 PM pe start hoti hai aur 4:30 PM pe Patalpani pahunchti hai. Railway officials Indore se Mahu aur Patalpani tak tourists ke liye DEMU train chalane par soch rahe hain. Shuruat mein, passengers ko Patalpani tak road se jaana padega, lekin railway ne Mahu se Patalpani tak broad-gauge rail line ka inspection kar liya hai aur existing 09390 DEMU train ko Ratlam se Patalpani tak extend kiya ja sakta hai. It was previously suspended in March due to the summer season but is now resuming operations with the onset of the monsoon. The fare for a Vista Dome coach is INR 265, while the fare for a non-AC chair car is INR 20. The train's operations were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020 but resumed in August 2021 with several improvements.
