The railway department has given permission for the following trains. They’ll be operational soon. 1) Tuticorin - Mettupalayam Fast Passenger train. Route: Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Palani, Pollachi, Coimbatore. 2) 06667/06668 Tuticorin to Tirunelveli special train will only run on Sundays. 3) Mangalore - Rameswaram Express train. Route: Kannur, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Pollachi, Palani, Dindigul, Madurai.

RB assigned a 16-car VB to SR! So now SR has a total of 4 new VB trains. One is a 16-car rake, while the other three are 8-car rakes waiting to be inaugurated. Let's wait and see if this will be used for a new service, replacing the existing MS TEN VB or MAS CBE VB, or if it's just an extra rake. What do you think?

RB ne SR ko ek 16 car wala VB allot kiya hai! Iss se SR ke paas abhi total mein 4 naye VB trains hain, ek 16 car wala aur baaki teen VB trains 8-Car rakes hain jo inauguration ka wait kar rahe hain. Chalo dekhte hain, yeh new service ke liye use hogi ya phir existing MS TEN VB ki jagah par, MAS CBE VB ki replacement ke liye, ya bas ek spare rake banegi. Tumhari raaye sunna hai!
