been equipped with either escalators or lifts. Northeast Frontier Railway has installed lifts, escalators, and foot-over bridges at stations with high passenger traffic. By December 2023, 43 lifts, 35 escalators, and 137 foot-over bridges are operational in stations under N.F. Railway. The railway is also planning to install more lifts and escalators in the upcoming financial year. In total, 23 lifts have been installed in Assam, 9 in West Bengal, and 11 in Bihar, while 21 escalators have been installed in Assam, 6 in West Bengal, 6 in Bihar, and 2 in Tripura. Further, 77 foot-over bridges were built in Assam, 40 in West Bengal, 14 in Bihar, 5 in Tripura, and 1 in Mizoram between 2014 and December 2023. The goal is to provide safe, convenient access and improve the overall passenger experience at railway stations.

Railway aane wale financial year mein aur lifts aur escalators lagaane ki planning bhi kar raha hai. Total mein, Assam mein 23 lifts, West Bengal mein 9, aur Bihar mein 11 lifts lagaaye gaye hain. Issi tarah, Assam mein 21 escalators, West Bengal aur Bihar mein 6-6, aur Tripura mein 2 escalators lagaaye gaye hain. 2014 se December 2023 tak, Assam mein 77, West Bengal mein 40, Bihar mein 14, Tripura mein 5, aur Mizoram mein 1 foot-over bridges banaye gaye hain. The routes are chosen based on demand and factors like tourist destinations, IT hubs, business centers, and state headquarters. Routes are prioritized based on the need for faster connectivity and where air travel is expensive or less available. Several states, including Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, and Kerala, have already proposed potential routes. The launch schedule includes 18 new routes by June 2024, followed by 4 new routes every two weeks starting in July 2024. Some confirmed routes include Mumbai to Shegaon, Pune to Shegaon, Belagavi to Pune, Raipur to Varanasi, and Kolkata-Rourkela. Gujarat will see two trains connecting Vadodara to Pune, and a train will also run on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link. As of January 15, 2024, 41 Vande Bharat trains are operational across India. The government aims to have 4,500 Vande Bharat trains by 2047, with contracts already awarded for 402 trains.

Launch schedule mein June 2024 tak 18 new routes launch karne ka plan hai, aur July 2024 se har 2 hafte mein 4 new routes launch kiye jaayenge. Kuch confirmed routes mein Mumbai to Shegaon, Pune to Shegaon, Belagavi to Pune, Raipur to Varanasi, aur Kolkata-Rourkela shamil hain.
