They also ran 56 Bharat Gaurav pilgrimage trains and converted 17 trains to LHB coaches, all capable of reaching 130 kmph. Modernization and redevelopment projects are underway at 13 stations, and 93 stations are being upgraded under the Amrit Station Scheme. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested 600 offenders and recovered railway property worth Rs. 48 lakh. They have also arrested 400 offenders for stealing passenger belongings, recovered Rs. 1.20 crore worth of stolen goods, and rescued 1,215 runaway children. The RPF has also seized Rs. 15 crore worth of Hawala money and gold/silver, and arrested 307 people for possessing contraband items.
