Vaishnaw ne UPA era (2009-2014) ke samay ki average allocation (Rs. 4,380 crore) ke muqable is allocation mein kaafi badhotari hone ki baat kahi hai. Unhone Rs. 60,000 crore ke chal rahe projects aur West Bengal mein 100 railway stations ko upgrade karne waale 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme' ke bare mein bhi bataya.
