Pune Railway Division Collects Rs 74.2 Lakh Fine From Tickeless Passengers In August

From April to August 2024, the Pune Railway Division conducted ticket checking drives and caught 19,950 passengers traveling without tickets. They collected a fine of Rs 74,25,640 from these passengers. The Railway authority emphasized the importance of following rules and regulations to avoid penalties, including potential imprisonment and fines under the Railway Act.
