Delhi and Faridabad. The project cost nearly Rs. 2,500 crore, with the Haryana Government contributing Rs. 1,557 crore, the Centre contributing Rs. 537 crore, and the Delhi Metro providing Rs. 400 crore. Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the new service, which he believes will propel Faridabad to new heights of progress. He also announced that the Prime Minister would soon approve the extension of the Metro line to connect Gurgaon with Faridabad.
