The Punjab Mail, traveling from Amritsar to Howrah, was delayed by three hours and reached Maa Belhadevi Junction at 5 pm. The Neelachal Express, traveling from New Delhi to Puri, was delayed by six hours, and the Delhi-Varanasi Kashi Vishwanath Express was delayed by three hours. These delays caused inconvenience to passengers. The station superintendent, B.K. Singh, confirmed the route diversion of some trains due to the construction work, and some trains were sent on the same route after its completion.
