and costing ₹4,255 crore, is expected to see driverless train operation and is 90% complete. Test runs are scheduled for July or August, with the line expected to carry 3.5 lakh passengers daily. The driverless train bogeys have arrived in Chennai and will be shipped to Bengaluru on February 18th. These lines will significantly benefit around 5 lakh passengers daily, reducing traffic congestion in the city.
