run of the broad gauge line between Jaura and Kailaras took place four months ago. After passing the inspection, MEMU train operations will be extended from Gwalior-Jaura to Gwalior-Kailaras soon. Following the inspection, a special electric train ran a test at 75 kilometers per hour between Jaura and Kailaras. Out of the 200 kilometer long gauge conversion project from Sheopur to Gwalior, 70 kilometers of track have been completed. The next phase involves building the track between Kailaras and Sabalgarh, with trials expected in the next three months.

Is track par MEMU train chalane se pehle bijli line (OHE) ka nireekshan hona tha, jiske liye Somvaar ko Jhansi rail mandal ke pradhan mukhya bijli engineer Anoop Kumar Agrawal aur unki team aayi. Karib chaar ghante chale is nireekshan mein OHE line ko pass kar diya gaya. Iske baad jaldi hi MEMU train ka sanchaln Gwalior-Jaura se badhkar Gwalior Kailaras tak ho jaayega. Bijli line ki gunvatta se santusht hone ke baad 75 kilometer prati ghante ki gati se Jaura-Kailaras ke beech bijli ke engine se chalne wali special train ko chalaakar parikshan kiya gaya. Nireekshan ke dauraan railway ke CEEDD SS Mangal, mukhya bijli engineer nirman DB Singh, upper mandal rail prabandhak Vivek Mishra, varishth mandal vidyut abhiyanta Mayank Shandyilya, varishth mandal vidyut abhiyanta parichalan Shivam Shrivastava, varishth mandal parichalan prabandhak Akhil Shukla, varishth mandal engineer Sudhir Kumar maujood the. Gaurtalab hai, ki Sheopur se Gwalior tak 200 km lambi gauge parivartan mein se ab tak 70 km lamba track ka kaam ho chuka hai. Ab agle charan mein Kailaras se Sabalgarh tak ka track taiyaar kiya ja raha hai, jis par aagami teen mahine mein trial hone ki sambhavna hai.
