Several projects, including the Ujjain station redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, doubling of Ujjain-Indore rail line, and the Dhaod-Indore railway project, are facing delays. The Dhaod-Indore project, initially estimated at ₹700 crores, has now ballooned to ₹1640 crores, with budget constraints hindering progress. Other issues include a lack of train stops at stations like Shajapur and Shuajalpur, the absence of passenger facilities at Kalapippal station, and the long-standing demand for a railway line in Khargone district. The Khaunda-Sanawad gauge conversion, while completed, lacks operational trains, leaving passengers waiting for a promised MEMU train. The Indore-Sendhwa-Manmad rail line remains on paper, despite the DPR being submitted to the NITI Aayog six years ago. The region's progress is hindered by these delays, impacting the growth of this strategically important area.

nahin ho paya. Budget mein kam paisa aana aur land acquisition jaise issues mein elected representatives ki interest ka nahin hona iski badi wajah hai. Ujjain station ka redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, Ujjain-Indore rail line ka doubling, aur Dhaod-Indore railway project jaise projects mein delay ho raha hai. Dhaod-Indore project, jiska initial estimate ₹700 crores tha, ab ₹1640 crores ho gaya hai, budget ki kamti ke wajah se progress slow hai. Aur bhi issues hain, jaise Shajapur aur Shuajalpur station mein train stops nahin hain, Kalapippal station mein passenger facilities nahin hain, aur Khargone district mein bahut saalon se railway line ki demand hai. Khaunda-Sanawad gauge conversion complete ho gaya hai, lekin trains chal rahi nahin, passengers MEMU train ka wait kar rahe hain. Indore-Sendhwa-Manmad rail line abhi tak paper mein hi hai, 6 saal pehle DPR NITI Aayog ko submit ki gayi thi.
