apna operation extend karne ka kaha hai. Ticket counters Kavi Subhas aur Dum Dum ke beech 23 stations pe khule honge, par last three North-South stations (Noapara, Baranagar, and Dakshineswar) trial se exclude hain. Extended services permanent honge, weekends ke alawa. Commuters ne is move ko welcome kiya hai, par kuchh commuters ka suggestion hai ki extended timeframe mein kam se kam three services chalana chahiye waiting periods ko reduce karne ke liye. Metro Railway motorman shortage ko address karne ke liye aur late hours mein services extend karne ke liye next five years mein new communication-based train control system ko implement karne ki planning kar raha hai.
