a new one is being constructed with 16 pillars up to 35 meters high. The bridge is expected to be completed by December 2024. The Sanawad-Barwah rail line will also be converted to broad gauge by then, allowing for broad gauge train operations between Barwah and Khandwa.

demolish kar diya gaya hai aur ek new bridge 16 pillars ke saath banaaya ja raha hai, jinki maximum height 35 meter tak hogi. Bridge December 2024 tak complete hone ki ummeed hai. Tab tak Sanawad-Barwah rail line bhi broad gauge ho jaayega, jisse Barwah se Khandwa tak broad gauge line pe train chalna shuru ho jaayega.
