Due to a mega block between Gorakhpur and Gonda, the platform of some trains at Gorakhpur station has been changed on Tuesday and Wednesday. 22 trains have been canceled and 15 have had their routes changed. Trains like Vaishali, which usually depart from platform number 1, will run from platform number...

2 for two days. Additionally, if the crowd increases in the evening, trains from platform number 2 will be shifted to an empty platform. The Vaishali, running from Saharsa to New Delhi, and the Barauli-New Delhi Special will depart from platform number 2 on September 3rd and 4th. The New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Express will be departing from platform number 2 or platform number 3 depending on availability. Other platforms are not expected to have changes but could be adjusted in the evening if there are many trains. The implementation of the route block system will allow the operation of multiple trains between two stations in both directions, eliminating the need for trains to wait for line clearance. This will improve average speed and impact train arrival times. The 50-day block on platform number 8 at Gorakhpur railway station has ended, allowing the Gorakhdham Express to be the first train to arrive there on Monday morning. After the block, Mumbai and Pune trains will depart from platform 8, which had been blocked for 50 days for washable apron work starting on July 15th. The work was completed on September 1st with engine trials conducted.

Saharsa se New Delhi jaane wali Vaishali aur Barauli-New Delhi Special 3 aur 4 September ko platform number 2 se chalengi. New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Express ko platform number 2 ya availability ke basis pe platform number 3 se chalane ki plan hai. Other platforms pe abhi koi change nahi hai, par evening mein agar trains ki crowd zyada hoti hai toh kuch gadiyon ke platform change ho sakte hain.
