The employees complained about leaky roofs, damp walls, malfunctioning lifts, unclean water tanks, and neglected parks and roads in the colonies. They highlighted the lack of drinking water in colonies, headquarters, and the DRM office, forcing employees to rent private housing despite being allocated quarters. Despite raising this issue in a previous meeting with the General Manager and Divisional Railway Managers, the engineering department ignored their directives.
