A new Vande Bharat Express train route is being considered between Tatanagar and Brahmapur in Odisha via Chaibasa. This route will offer new transportation options for passengers in Kolhan and various branch lines in Odisha. Tatanagar will serve as the maintenance hub for the Brahmapur Vande Bharat train, with other stations taking over maintenance responsibilities to ensure a dedicated pit line for the train. Two new Vande Bharat train rakes are ready for launch, expected before August 15th. Meanwhile, preparations are underway in Chakradharpur for the launch of Vande Bharat Express trains between Tatanagar and Patna, and Tatanagar and Banaras. The Tatanagar station is also undergoing upgrades to handle Vande Bharat train maintenance, including a new traction system for cleaning and repair of the coaches.
