On Sundays, 4-5 buses will run from Dhanbad to Sultan Ganj. On Sunday, over 1000 pilgrims will travel to Sultan Ganj from different parts of Dhanbad using trains, buses, and private vehicles. The cost of materials used to make 'kanwars', such as bamboo, rope, and bells, has increased by 10% this year, resulting in a 50 INR increase in the overall cost of a 'kanwar' compared to last year. The price of a decorated 'kanwar', including bamboo, rope, bells, idols, snakes, decorative flowers, and ribbons, is now INR 350, whereas it was INR 300 last year.
