They have submitted numerous memorandums to the General Manager and the Sidhi MP requesting a stoppage for both weekly trains (Santragachi-Ajmer 18009-18010 and Ahmedabad-Kolkata 194131-19414), citing the inconvenience caused to passengers, especially during summer, with a distance of 264 kilometers between Singrauli and Murwara Katni. The latest appeal was made to the new MP, urging a stoppage and also extending the Singrauli-Bhopal Superfast train to Indore for one day, providing a direct train for students from Singrauli and surrounding areas.
