Despite their protests, the train was allowed to depart without the AC being fixed or the coaches being replaced. The train was eventually allowed to leave after around 200 passengers disembarked. Passengers expressed their anger and frustration with the railway's lack of response and threatened to file complaints with the Railway Board and the Railway Minister.
