Kerala, Kasaragod ranks 15th and Kanhangad 25th. The Palakkad railway division, despite not providing adequate attention to North Malabar, has witnessed a substantial increase in revenue. This growth is attributed to improved passenger train operations and freight transportation, generating a combined income of 1511.11 crore rupees. The Palakkad division aims to utilize this revenue for infrastructure development, according to Divisional Railway Manager Arun Kumar Chaturvedi.
