The Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express and the Tatanagar-Chhapra Thawe Express were also held on the platform for over an hour as employees repaired the high tension. Passengers of the Amritsar Express and Chhapra Express, frustrated by the delay, inquired with the station master, creating a chaotic environment on platform number one. During this period, other express trains, including Purushottam and Utkal, continued their journey on the down line. It's believed that a freight train near the loco crossing caused the high tension failure, which was later repaired by the employees, resuming train operations.
