Uttarakhand of Vande Bharat Express train services, even mentioning connecting it to Tanakpur. The railway ministry has also agreed to extend the Vande Bharat Express from Kathgodam to Kanpur, though the timeline for these additions is yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, the government has announced that the number of Vande Bharat trains has increased to 82 and work is underway to increase the speed of these trains on the New Delhi-Mumbai and New Delhi-Howrah routes to 160 km per hour. The Railway Minister confirmed that 82 Vande Bharat Express trains have been added to the Indian Railways network by January 31, 2024, and more railway stations will be connected to these services soon.

Kathgodam se Kanpur tak Vande Bharat Express ko jodne ke liye Railway Ministry ne bhi apni sahmati di hai, par yeh kab hoga, yeh aane wala time bataayega. Iske saath hi, government ne bataya hai ki Vande Bharat trains ki sankhya ab 82 ho gayi hai, aur New Delhi-Mumbai aur New Delhi-Howrah routes par in trains ki speed 160 km per hour tak badhaane ka kaam chal raha hai. Railway Mantri Ashwini Vaishnaw ne kaha ki 31 January, 2024 tak, 82 Vande Bharat Express train services Indian Railways se jud gayi hain, aur jaldi hi aur railway stations ko in rail services se joda jaayega.
