will also be laid. 10 crore rupees has been allocated for the ongoing work on the Pilibhit-Lucknow via Sitapur-Lakhimpur rail section. Currently, there are only two rail lines connecting Bareilly to Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Bihar: Bareilly-Shahjahanpur-Hardoi-Lucknow and Bareilly-Roza-Sitapur-Budhwal. The Pilibhit-Mailani-Lucknow rail line is almost complete. The work on the Pilibhit-Shahgarh rail section was delayed due to forest areas. Train operations on this line will start in April. This will add another rail line between Kathgodam-Pilibhit-Lucknow-Gorakhpur and Bareilly-Pilibhit-Lucknow-Gorakhpur. This will improve rail connectivity. The budget has allocated 19.60 crore rupees for doubling the Roza-Sitapur Cantonment-Budhwal rail line. Most of the work on this 180 km long rail section is already completed. Doubling the Roza-Sitapur Cantonment-Budhwal-Gonda and Pilibhit-Lucknow via Sitapur-Lakhimpur rail sections will improve rail connectivity. 225 crore rupees have also been allocated for the third line on the 61 km Budhwal-Gonda rail section.

Interim budget mein, Northeast Frontier Railway ke liye sarkar ne 5,813.20 crore rupees ka provision kiya hai. rail section mein pehle se chal rahe kaam ke liye 10 crore ka budget rakha gaya hai. Bareilly se Lucknow, Gorakhpur aur Bihar ke liye abhi Bareilly-Shahjahanpur-Hardoi-Lucknow, Bareilly-Roza-Sitapur-Budhwal rail lines hi hain. Pilibhit-Mailani-Lucknow rail line ka kaam lag-bhag pura ho gaya hai. Pilibhit-Shahgarh rail section mein van kshetra ke karan kaam pura hone mein deri hui thi. April mein is line par trainon ka sanchalan chaloo ho jaayega. Iske baad Kathgodam-Pilibhit-Lucknow-Gorakhpur, Bareilly-Pilibhit-Lucknow-Gorakhpur ke beech ek aur rail line chaloo ho jaayegi. Is rail line ke chaloo hone se rail connectivity aur behtar ho jaayegi. Budget mein Roza-Sitapur Cantonment-Budhwal rail line ke doubling ke liye 19.60 crore ka provision kiya gaya hai. 180 km ke is rail section mein kaafi kaam pehle hi pura ho chuka hai. Roza-Sitapur Cantonment-Budhwal-Gonda aur Pilibhit-Lucknow via Sitapur-Lakhimpur rail sections ke doubling se rail connectivity behtar hogi. Budhwal-Gonda ke beech 61 km rail section mein teesri line ke liye bhi 225 crore ka provision kiya gaya hai.
