Five stations in the Ayodhya region, namely Ayodhya Dham Junction, Ayodhya Cantt, Darshan Nagar, Ram Ghat, and Katra, will undergo a makeover. The Ayodhya Dham Junction will have direct rail connectivity to Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. Doubling of rail lines between Gorakhpur Junction and Ayodhya Dham, and from Mankapur to Ayodhya Dham, is also in the pipeline. The budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year allocated ₹2,52,000 crore to the Indian Railways. In the past decade, the Indian Railways has invested ₹98,015 crore in Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on constructing 1978 km of railway track annually. The electrification of all rail lines in the state is complete, and 157 stations have been chosen for development under the 'Amrit Bharat' scheme. Additionally, 40,000 coaches will be upgraded following the Vande Bharat model to enhance passenger comfort. The safety feature 'Kavach' system, launched in 2016, is being rapidly implemented. The construction of 1377 road overbridges/road underbridges has taken place in the last 10 years. 'One Station One Product' initiative has led to the establishment of stalls at 143 stations, promoting local products and boosting local incomes.

Ayodhya Dham Junction ko Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, aur Prayagraj se direct rail connectivity milegi. Gorakhpur Junction se Ayodhya Dham tak aur Mankapur se Ayodhya Dham tak doubling (dusri rail line) bhi ban rahi hai. 2024-25 fiscal year ke budget mein Indian Railways ko ₹2,52,000 crore allocate kiya gaya hai. Last 10 years mein, Indian Railways ne Uttar Pradesh mein ₹98,015 crore invest kiya hai, jismein har saal 1978 km railway track banane par focus hai. State mein saare rail lines ka 100 percent electrification complete ho chuka hai, aur ‘Amrit Bharat’ scheme ke tahat 157 stations ko development ke liye select kiya gaya hai.
