North Eastern Railway will be operating eight special trains covering the Gorakhpur and Varanasi routes, while the Northern Railway will operate eight trains on the Lucknow, Ayodhya, and Pratapgarh routes. The Northern Central Railway is preparing to operate four trains. Additional train routes are still being finalized. The North Eastern Railway has released a schedule for the special trains operating between January 14th and March 8th. All mail and express trains will have stopovers at the Rambag and Jhusi railway stations during the bathing festivals. For example, the 05109 Varanasi-Prayagraj Rambag Unreserved Mela Special train will depart Varanasi at 10:30 PM on January 14th and 24th, February 8th, 13th, 23rd, and March 7th and arrive at Rambag at 2:00 AM. The return train, 05110, will depart Rambag at 9:25 AM on January 15th, 25th, February 9th, 14th, 24th, and March 8th and arrive in Varanasi at 1:00 PM. The 05111-05112 Varanasi-Prayagraj Rambag Unreserved Mela Special train will depart Varanasi at 8:00 AM on January 15th, 25th, February 9th, 14th, 24th, and March 8th and arrive at Rambag at 11:30 AM. The return train will depart Rambag at 5:10 PM on the same dates and arrive in Varanasi at 8:45 PM. The 05113-05114 Bhatni-Prayagraj Rambag Unreserved Mela Special train will depart Bhatni at 8:45 PM on February 8th and arrive at Rambag at 3:20 AM the next day.
