IG Drones, who secured the tender, are utilizing the Skyhawk drone, which is equipped with 5G connectivity, AI, GPS navigation, and thermal imaging cameras. This advanced drone can carry 10 kilograms and travel 100 kilometers in 12-15 minutes. Its vertical takeoff and landing capability eliminates the need for specific tracks or runways. The PRT will serve as a feeder line for the proposed metro corridors in Dehradun.
