Switzerland has a dense railway network spanning over 5,200 kilometers, almost entirely electrified, except for specific areas used for tourism. The hub-and-spoke model concentrates traffic at a central hub for better scheduling, efficiency, and connectivity, enabling easy transfers between routes. This model also offers economies of scale and flexibility for adjusting routes based on demand.

Switzerland ka railway network 5,200 kilometer se zyada hai, almost pura electrified hai, except for few areas jo tourism ke liye steam locomotives ka use karte hain. Hub-and-spoke model traffic ko central hub pe concentrate karta hai, jisse better scheduling, efficiency, aur connectivity milti hai, aur routes ke beech smooth transfer hota hai. Is model se economies of scale bhi milta hai aur demand ke hisaab se routes adjust karne ki flexibility bhi hai.
