However, land acquisition issues are hindering the progress of several projects. Despite this, the ministry has identified 77 stations, including three major terminals in Chennai, for modernization under the 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme'.

hai, jaise new tracks banana, stations ko upgrade karna, aur new coaches aur train services introduce karna. Aaj kal Tamil Nadu mein 2,587 km new railway lines planning, sanctioning aur execution ke different stages mein hain. Par land acquisition mein problem aa rahi hai, jisse kai projects mein der ho rahi hai. Iske baawajood, ministry ne Chennai mein 3 main terminals including 77 stations ko 'Amrit Bharat Station Scheme' ke under modernize karne ke liye select kiya hai.
