The highest bid for the new contract was submitted by Sify Technologies at Rs 5,040 per pair km per month, setting the rate for other companies. The contract covers the Bommasandra line to RV Road, encompassing 42.3km of Phase 1 and all subsequent extensions. Operators pay Rs 17,000 per month per cable tray per station, and Rs 700 per month for maintenance charges per pair of Kilometres.
