and supply of standard Gauge UIC 60 Turnouts. The project has a 24-month deadline and is expected to contribute significantly to the timely completion of the upcoming metro lines. Phase 2A, connecting KR Puram to Central Silkboard, aims to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion. Construction contracts for this phase were awarded in May 2021 with a target completion date of June 2025. Phase 2B, the airport-link section connecting Bengaluru to Kempegowda International Airport, is expected to be completed by 2024. Construction contracts for this phase were awarded in November 2021.
