This incident is part of a broader trend of increasing crime in the Bilaspur district, with incidents of knife attacks and brawls on the rise. The police claim to be taking action against crime, but are facing challenges in controlling drug trafficking. A similar incident involving a knife attack occurred in the Sarkanda area just the day before, highlighting the ongoing problem. Despite the police's claims of investigating the drug trade, they have yet to apprehend those responsible for the recent incidents.

Jab Israil ne virodh kiya, to unhone uspe chaku se hamla kiya aur uska mobile phone loot kar bhaag gaye. Ghâyal railway employee ne Tarbahar police station mein complaint di hai, jiske baad police ne robbery ka case register karke investigation shuru kar di hai. Bilaspur district mein badmaashon ka aatank badhta ja raha hai, chaku se hamla aur maarpit ki ghatnayen barh rahi hain. Police apradh par control karne ka daava karti hai, lekin drug trafficking ko control karne mein unhe kaafi dikkat aa rahi hai. Sirf ek din pehle Sarkanda area mein bhi aisi hi ghatna hui thi, jismein ek mahila ke ghar mein ghuskar uske saath maarpit ki gayi aur uspe chaku se hamla kiya gaya. Police drug trade ki investigation karne ka daava karti hai, lekin abhi tak unhe iske liye zimmedar logon tak nahi pahunch paya hai.
