the designs of some stations incorporate local architectural and cultural elements, including the Bhagwan Jagannath Temple (Baleshwar Station, Odisha), Chola influence (Kumbakonam Station, Tamil Nadu), and Modhera Surya Mandir (Ahmedabad Station). Uttar Pradesh leads in the number of stations to be redeveloped (73), followed by Maharashtra (56) and Gujarat (33). The scheme also includes the redevelopment of 267 roads over bridges and underpasses in Uttar Pradesh, 192 overbridges and underground passes in Maharashtra, and 84 road overbridges/underpasses in Andhra Pradesh.
