Indore's 32 km metro project, currently under construction, aims to connect Gandhi Nagar to Robot via Super Corridor, MR-10, Vijay Nagar, and Radisson Chowk. barriers along the 8km stretch from Gandhi Nagar to MR-10, costing ₹8 crores. While the entire project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, efforts are being made to operationalize the Gandhi Nagar to Robot section within a year. The 5.5km priority corridor is almost ready, with a trial run conducted by the former Chief Minister. However, the airport-Gandhi Nagar section is yet to be started, which will likely impact passenger numbers on the track. The entire metro project is being built in phases, with the elevated corridor from Gandhi Nagar to MR-10, Vijay Nagar, and Robot Chowk currently under construction. The construction between Radisson and Robot is progressing at a rapid pace. The crash barriers are being constructed to prevent large vehicles from colliding with the metro pillars, thus minimizing the risk of accidents. These 4 feet high barriers will have a green belt between them, similar to the central dividers on roads and green belts on national highways. Once completed, the metro company will plant attractive flowers and plants in the green belt and maintain them.

se MR-10 tak 8 kilometer ke stretch pe, Indore Development Authority (IDA) ye crash barriers banwa raha hai, jisme ₹8 crore kharch honge. Pura project 2026 ke end tak complete hone ki ummid hai, par Gandhi Nagar se Robot tak section ek saal mein operational karne ki koshish ho rahi hai. 5.5 kilometer ka priority corridor almost ready hai, aur pehle CM ne trial run bhi kiya tha. Par airport-Gandhi Nagar section abhi start nahin hua, jisse track pe passengers ki number par impact pad sakta hai. Pura metro project phases mein ban raha hai, aur Gandhi Nagar se MR-10, Vijay Nagar, aur Robot Chowk tak elevated corridor abhi ban raha hai. Radisson aur Robot ke beech construction tezi se chal raha hai. Crash barriers isliye banaye ja rahe hain taki koi bada vehicle metro pillars se na takraye aur accident na ho. Ye 4 feet unchai ke barriers ke beech mein green belt banaya jaega, jaise roads pe central dividers aur national highways pe green belts hote hain. Jab yeh complete ho jaega, to metro company is green belt mein attractive flowers aur plants lagaayegi aur unka maintain bhi karegi.
