A total of 76,940 segments will be cast to form the tunnel lining, each segment measuring 2 meters wide and 0.5 meters thick. The segments are being cast at a dedicated yard in Mahape, Thane, using high-strength M70 grade concrete. This yard is equipped with cranes, gantries, and automated machines to ensure quality control during the casting and stacking process. The MAHSR will have 12 stations and accommodate 35 trains per day in each direction, with a frequency of 20 minutes in peak hours and 30 minutes in non-peak hours. The bullet trains will travel at 320 km/hr, making the entire journey between Mumbai and Ahmedabad approximately 2 hours and 7 minutes.

Tunnelling Method (NATM) ka use kiya jaayega. Tunnel lining ke liye total 76,940 segments banaye jaayenge, har segment 2 meters wide aur 0.5 meters thick hai. Segments ko Mahape, Thane mein ek dedicated yard mein cast kiya ja raha hai, jahan high-strength M70 grade concrete ka use kiya ja raha hai. Is yard mein cranes, gantries, aur automated machines hain, jisse casting aur stacking process mein quality control ho sake. MAHSR mein 12 stations honge aur har direction mein 35 trains per day chalenge, peak hours mein 20 minutes aur non-peak hours mein 30 minutes ka frequency hoga. Bullet trains 320 km/hr ki speed se chalenge, aur Mumbai se Ahmedabad tak ka journey approximately 2 hours and 7 minutes mein complete hoga.
