no trains running on either route from 6:25 PM on Saturday until 5:25 PM on Sunday. Only the Ayodhya-Delhi Express at 5:25 PM and the Vande Bharat train after 9:30 PM on Sunday were able to operate. Passengers arriving at stations without prior information were left disappointed, as general ticket windows were open but no tickets were being sold. Information boards displayed that no trains would be arriving until 6 PM. Prior to this, 10 trains had been canceled and 20 trains rerouted due to track doubling work on the Shahganj-Bilwai-Tulsinagar line. This was followed by the cancellation of four more trains and the rerouting of 16 trains due to yard remodeling work in Barabanki. Passengers were forced to cancel their pre-booked tickets, and ticket sales for travel after January 15th were available.

gayi, Saturday shaam 6:25 se Sunday shaam 5:25 tak dono routes pe koi bhi train nahi chali. Sirf Ayodhya-Delhi Express shaam 5:25 pe aur Vande Bharat train shaam 9:30 ke baad chali. Station pe aane waale passengers ko koi information nahi mili, woh sab disappointed hoke laut gaye, kyunki general ticket window khuli thi, lekin koi ticket nahi bik raha tha. Station board pe likha tha ki shaam 6 baje tak koi train nahi aayegi. Isse pehle Shahganj-Bilwai-Tulsinagar line pe track doubling ke kaam ki wajah se 10 train cancel kar di gayi thi, aur 20 train ka route badal diya gaya tha. Iske baad Barabanki me yard remodeling ke kaam ki wajah se aur 4 train cancel kar di gayi, aur 16 train ka route badal diya gaya. Passengers ko apne pre-booked tickets cancel karne padhe, aur January 15th ke baad ke liye hi ticket mil rahe hai.
