Punctuality:

Bilkul bhayankar, aur main sach mein kehta hoon! Train aksar source se reschedule hoti hai, aamtaur par 4 se 6 ghante late chalta hai. Jab tak yeh Panvel pahunchta hai, der 8 se 10 ghante tak ho sakti hai, kabhi kabhi toh 15 ghante tak bhi, yeh sab SER ke freight trains ko priority dene ke karan hota hai.
Khushi ki baat hai ki meri journey departure par time par thi (sham 6 baje Santragachi se), par hum Panvel Monday ko takreeban 2 baje pahunche - 2 ghante der se, 14/10/2024 ko. Hum Bhusaval Junction par 11040 Maharashtra Express se bhi overtake ho gaye!

Mumbaikars ke liye, main is train ko aakhri option ke tor par istemaal karne ka suggest karta hoon, khaas karke jabki Santragachi aasani se pahunchne layak nahi hai, aur public transport limited hai. Geetanjali Express ya Jnaneswari Express jaise trains bahut behtar options hai.

Cleanliness:

Har 3-4 ghante pe safai karne ke liye OBHS staff dedicated hai, par sach mein, coaches kaafi ganda the, yeh SRC CDO ki taraf se primary maintenance ki kami ka ishara hai.

Food:

Maine online khana order kiya tha - Nagpur se lunch aur Bhusaval se dinner - isliye main pantry car ke khane pe kuchh nahi bol sakta. Par fellow passengers ne bataya ki quality achchhi nahi thi.

Railfanning:

Dekhne ke liye kuchh zyada nahi tha, par agar train ek ghante ya do ghante late hai, to Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express usse Nagpur se thoda pehle overtake kar deta hai. Mai apni trip ke dauraan yeh dekhne mein kaamyab raha.

Ticket Availability:

Durga Puja ya dusre festivals ke alawa, tickets aamtaur par aasani se mil jaate hai. Par, train ki kharab punctuality ko dekhte hue, main is route ke liye alternative options pe vichar karne ka suggest karta hoon.

Safety:

Apne luggage ka dhyan rakhen, raat mein koi RPF patrol nahi thi.

Kisi bhi point pe mujhe sahi karne ke liye bejhjhak, aur main aapke comments ka swagat karta hoon!

Not just the Railway Board and politicians... even railfans neglect the Seemanchal area of Bihar in their timelines. For them, Bihar is all about Patna, BGP, SHC, MFP, Gaya... but they don't consider KIR, KNE, PRNA as part of Bihar. Why this hypocrisy?

Bas railway board aur politicians hi nahi... railfans bhi Seemanchala area of Bihar ko apne timeline mein ignore karte hain 🥲🥲🥲 Unke liye Bihar bas Patna, BGP, SHC, MFP, Gaya hai..... Lekin woh Kir, Kne, Prna ko Bihar ka hissa hi nahi maante... yeh hypocrisy kyon?

"Premium" Duronto Express ko Ghaziabad ke paas WAP-7 locomotive fail hone se bada operational issue aaya. Dadri pahunchne ke baad, WAG-9 ko substitute kiya gaya, jisse train ki speed 100 km/h tak limited ho gayi, haalaanki section ki capacity 130 km/h ki hai. Train ko baar baar chote stations par loop lines par move kiya gaya, jisse kam se kam 15 aur trains ne overtake kiya, jisme Farakka Express bhi shamil hai. Ye baat khass kar chinta karne wali hai ki, Ghaziabad ek bada hub hai aur yahan desh ke sabse bade electric loco sheds mein se ek hai, phir bhi alternative WAP-7 provide nahin kiya jaa saka.

Should Indian Railways introduce a new concept of hierarchy in trains to better manage them, resource distribution, and the travel experience? The current system seems chaotic with the introduction of so many high-priority trains.

Here's my proposal:

1. **High Priority Trains:** Rajdhani, VB, Shatabdi, Duronto, Tejas
A. Special Fund and Time Allocation Facility for them
B. High priority and fewer stops/shorter travel time in all sections
C. Enhanced food services, experience, and entertainment facilities
D. Better execution of plans to maintain cleanliness and maintenance en route
E. Well-experienced staff from Hotel Management for improved experience quality

2. **Flagship Trains:** Premium Superfast/AC Trains, Sampark Kranti, Humsafar, Uday-DD
A. High Fund Allocation to maintain cleanliness and facilities
B. Providing better sanitation facilities and speedy journeys for regular passengers
C. Better travel experience, priority, and premium superfast trains to the destination

3. **Normal Trains:** Garibrath, Jan Shatabdi, AC Superfast, AC express, Express
A. Normal fund allocation with a general emphasis on cleanliness and facilities
B. Normal Journey Experience
C. A low budget quality travel option for the general public.

4. **Low Priority Trains:** Passengers/DEMU/MEMU
A. Normal daily basis travel experience

Benefits of the System:
1. Help IR in better planned and executed spending on Trains, Quality Experience, and travel time/Priority.
2. Flagship trains will offer a quality experience for the general public while Normal Trains will provide a medium-low budget experience.
3. The plan will systematize spending on various trains – creating a powerful difference between the experience in various categories of trains (as with the current strategy of maintenance, Rajdhani and some SF trains are equal, which should not be the case)
4. Help the public form a better image of trains in India (especially foreigners)
5. More Transparency and better travel experience for passengers - as they will know that Flagship and High priority trains can be trusted more with their travel.

Disadvantages (I feel):
1. Can create a class difference in Railways.

Kya Indian Railways ko trains mein ek naya hierarchy system introduce karna chahiye, taaki unko behtar manage kiya ja sake, resources sahi se distribute ho aur travel experience achha ho? Abhi toh itne saare high-priority trains aa gaye hain ki system bohot messy lag raha hai.

Main yeh propose kar raha hoon:-

1. High Priority Trains - Rajdhani, VB, Shatabdi, Duronto, Tejas
A. Inke liye special fund aur time allocation facility honi chahiye
B. High priority aur kam halts/ travel time har section mein
C. Increased food services, experience aur entertainment facilities
D. Cleanliness/maintenance en route ke plans ko behtar tarike se execute karna chahiye
E. Experience quality ke liye Hotel Management se well-experienced staff

2. Flagship Trains - Premium Superfast/AC Trains, Sampark Kranti, Humsafar, Uday-DD
A. Cleanliness-facilities ko maintain karne ke liye high fund allocation
B. Normal passengers ke liye behtar sanitation facilities aur jaldi journeys provide karna
C. Behtar travel experience, priority aur premium superfast trains to destination

3. Normal Trains - Garibrath, Jan Shatabdi, AC Superfast, AC express, Express
A. Normal fund allocation with general emphasis on cleanliness and facilities
B. Normal Journey Experience
C. General public ke liye low budget quality travel.

4. Low Priority Trains - Passengers/DEMU/MEMU
A. Normal daily basis travel experience

System ke Fayde:
1. IR ko trains par better planned aur executed spend, quality experience aur travel time/priority mein madad karega.
2. Flagship trains general public ko trains mein quality experience denge, while Normal Trains medium-low budget experience denge.
3. Yeh plan different trains par spending ko systematize karega - different categories of trains mein experience ke beech ek powerful difference create karega (jaise ki current strategy mein maintenance Rajdhani aur kuchh SF trains ek jaise hain, jo ki sahi nahi hai)
4. Public ko India mein trains ki behtar image banane mein madad karega (khaas karke foreigners)
5. Passengers ke liye more transparency aur better travel experience - kyunki woh jaanenge ki Flagship aur High priority trains par apne travel ke liye zyada bharosa kiya ja sakta hai.
