Granted it is a special train and it's priority is bottom low, this decision is baffling !
If run through the HBC line at-least a hour could have been cut off.

Even the OG KOAA JAT doesn't go via BDC :) Usually you would expect the railway people to copy paste routes from existing trains

KeepTravelling^~ 10736 blog postsThere seems to be an issue with the Duronto Express today. I am currently on board, and the train has been stationary for the past hour. During this time, it has been overtaken by multiple trains, including the Kaifiyat Express, Shiv Ganga Express, and others.

LHB_for_18047~ 11335 blog postsI had file RTI asking SWR when will they extend this train back to VSG answer was after 2nd pitline is commissioned at VSG but when you ask in RTI when they will commission the pitline they say it's already done.
The truth is they have already commissioned 2nd pitline at VSG in early 2023 but they have not constructed catwalk for full length on one side so as of now it's only used for stabling spare coaches and for doing PM of VSG Azara parcel special train.

Yeah it said will be restored on completion of 2nd pitline at Vasco. Just standard copy paste responses.
Simply SWR don't care about Goa being a tourist destination and running more trains there. They only approve trains like JSME VSG, SC VSG because of the big political pressures behind them.

Purulia and Bishnupur candidates won by hardly 5 - 2% margin. Lost Bankura and Asansol by wide margin. That shows the frustration of masses. Connectivity in Adra division is completely cooked up. Whenever you demand for new trains they will paste the label of 'Congestion'. Any further escalation, then will come up with their visionary planning of 'Anara Carshed' which is ongoing since 7 years and don't know how post it's inauguration won't contradict the first label.
